Sony will soon 1,000 Workers
London-one Japan Electronics giant, Sony revealed will house 1,000 people, or 15 percent of its workforce as a result of a central unit telephone celular crisis in March 2013.
Not only that, the mobile Division, Sony will also be moved its headquarters out of Sweden to Tokyo in October 2012. The transfer of the Office was meant to trim production costs.
Offered by citing the press of BGR description Sony Mobile Communications, the decision to House 1,000 labor appeared six months since Sony bought full ownership of telecommunications company Ericsson Sweden, which was previously a joint venture in 2001 ago.
Cooperative joint venture has been struggling amid tough competition, the smart phone market is faced with tough opponents such as Apple and the company from South Korea, Samsung Electronics.
Sony reveals a workforce housing in Sweden is expected to be completed in 2014. They also claim it as part of an effort to increase the efficiency of operational costs, reduce costs, and control the growth of profits.
"We are speeding up the integration and convergence with the Sony group to continue to improve the supply," said the CEO of Sony Mobile Kunisama Suzuki.
"With more focus and rely on a more efficient operational structure, will help reduce the cost of Sony Mobile and we hope to be able to bring us back to get the power business," continued the Suzuki.
